Over the past couple of weeks, Aline has been testing a rather expensive anti-cellulite treatment kit from Bliss. However, you can make one that is just as effective from some produce you most likely have in your pantry. Our perfect-butt-owner-friend Marina Smirnova shares the recipe:
5tsp green tea
Here’s how you do it:
Using a mortar and pestle, powder the green tea (for the same purpose you can also use your coffee grinder). Now, blend it with some warm water. Please, notice, that the mixture should stay thick and shouldn’t get runny.
Add the rest of your ingredients: three tablespoons of honey and a teaspoon of cinnamon. Instead of cinnamon you can also try ground ginger (it’s more effective in case you have stretch marks, while cinnamon has extremely powerful anti-cellulite properties).
Massage the treatment onto your butt and legs, then wrap yourself up in a plastic foil. Put on your cosiest sweatpants and snuggle in under the blanket for about 45 minutes. Keep yourself as warm as possible!
While you enjoy your favourite TV-series or a book, the green tea, honey and cinnamon will work their magic. All three of them stimulate blood circulation and tone your body (especially thanks to caffeine in the green tea). Honey nourishes and moisturizes the skin, so it’ll feel much softer and look younger after the treatment.
After 40-60 minutes take a shower and enjoy your improved butt.
Marina recommends this body wrap every once in a while (not more than a couple of times a week though) combined with a regular honey massage. It’s as simple as it sounds: take some honey and energetically clap it on any body parts with cellulite. Your hand should stick to the skin. After a couple of minutes rinse everything off. You’ll see the results pretty much immediately. However, to get rid of cellulite completely, you’ll need a bit more than that: vigorous massage, regular exercise and a healthy diet with reduced amount of carbs.
