A great alternative to midnight snacks.
If anxiety or technology won’t let you sleep at night instead of snacking on something unhealthy, try this delicious smoothie. Soya milk and almonds both help to alleviate insomnia and calm the nerves.
For this smoothie you can use either fresh or frozen strawberries. In case you’re using the fresh kind, hull them first and add a couple of ice cubes to the recipe. Then, put all the ingredients together in a blender and process until smooth.
* By the way, did you know that there’s no need to peel the kiwi? The peel contains a lot of vitamin C and other nutritions.
Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy immediately, decorated with flaked almonds, if liked.
