Paris Fashion Week: Beauty Looks

This weekend I’ve scouted the streets of Paris to bring you some fresh spring beauty looks of the attendees of the fashion week.

Judging by the crowd outside Palais de Tokyo, natural no-make-up-make-up trend is still going strong. Healthy blush, strong brows and a touch of mascara to really open-up the eyes – these are the features the majority of the gals rock during this busy period, when there ain’t no time for eyeliner and lipstick mistakes in between shows and appointments. However I did spot some ladies with new amazing lippies: while perfect red will always stay a classic, this season there’s a rise of darker berry shades and purples. On a closer account I’ve also found out that according to these trendsetters there is no shame in wearing cheap make-up and some of them name Kiko, Essence and L’Oréal as their favourite brands. Although… if you want to knock yourself out and spend 70€ on a lipstick, that could be a fashion statement too.

Roose, Holland (on the picture above): liquid matt foundation from Max Factor, blush and bronzer from Kiko, mascara and eyebrow kit from Dutch brand Essence and lipstick from MAC.
