We believe that a Girls’ Night In clearly beats a Girls’ Night Out. So the next time all of us gather in one city, we’ll definitely stay in for a night and treat ourselves to a relaxing pampering accompanied by a detox tea-party and never-ending cosmetics talk. We’ve already chosen eight luxurious products we’ll be using for face, body and hair.

When you’re around your best friends, there’s no need to be hiding behind the make-up, so start off by removing all of it with the help of Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser from Liz Earle. It suits the most sensitive skin, removes even hard-beaten mascara and doesn’t leave your face feeling dry or tight. The use of the hot cloth will make it feel like you’re in a real spa getting a facial.

By the way, facial is our favourite part of the experience. There’s nothing more comforting than putting on some anti-aging masks together with your girlfriends and starting to reminisce about the good old days when we were young and wrinkles-free.

Thanks to Oskia‘s Renaissance Mask those days can be returned in all their glory. A complete feeling of relaxation, freshness and a healthy glow. One of those cases when you look in the mirror afterwards and realise: “Wow! This actually works!”

Another must is an eye mask and one of our favourite is Eye Contour Mask from Sisley. It’s an express smoothing treatment that reduces under-eye puffiness and other signs of fatigue and stress. Even after the removal, the original “gel patch” texture of this mask leaves an imperceptible gentle film that continues to do its magic.

Now when your face is practically glowing, let’s add some shimmer to highlight the inner corners of the eyes, beneath brow bones, on the nose bridge and above the upper lip to make it look plumper. Even though this product from YOUNGBLOOD is called Eye-lluminating Duo we think of it more like a magic wand with a glimmering highlighter on one end and a matte concealer on the other.

Body Treatments

A true spa experience is about a thorough cleanse both on the outside and on the inside. That’s why we recommend to combine a whole body massage with Moroccan Rose Otto Sugar Body Polish from REN and a cup of delicious Pukka Cleanse tea. It will help you to maintain a healthy, glowing complexion while providing an excellent refreshment. Not as glamorous as champagne, but definitely more beneficial.

Hair Treatments

Ogario’s Restore and Shine Hair Mask is an ultimate spa treatment for your hair. It’s packed with avocado, olive oil, aloe vera, nettle, horsetail and sage, which is rich in vitamin A, C and E. Don’t be shy, as with pretty much any hair mask, more is more, so slather on generously and comb through for shiny, gorgeous hair. To find out how to get the most of it, read Niina’s advice on hair conditioning here.

After the proper nourishment you can either leave your hair alone or go ahead and experiment with some new hairdos and makeovers for both yourself and your girlfriends. We recommend using Shu Uemura’s Depsea Foundation (what? you’ve never heard of a foundation for hair?!) that provides optimal moisture while enhancing the performance of other styling products.

Enjoy your Girls’ Night In and tell us in the comments which product do you use for “Spa at Home” kind of experience.
